Silent Sedition carries winning form at the highest level into the Queen Of The Turf Stakes and remains an outright $4.20 favourite with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au, ahead of Foxplay ($6) and Dixie Blossoms ($7.50).

Will Silent Sedition justify favouritism and win the 2017 Queen Elizabeth Stakes, or will one of her talented rivals post an upset?

1st

Real Love ($17)

Real Love has performed admirably with not a lot of luck this time in and finally finds conditions to suit in the 2017 Queen Of The Turf Stakes. Running a close second in the Group 2 Dato’ Tan Chin Nam Stakes (1600m), winning the Group 3 JRA Cup (2040m) and finishing fifth in the Group 1 Caulfield Cup (2400m) most notably in spring, the Desert King mare placed fifth in each of her first three starts this time and was last seen hitting the line well for fourth in the Group 2 Blamey Stakes (1600m). Brad Rawiller will ride Real Love in the Queen Of The Turf Stakes and the mare should receive a good passage in the race form barrier 3.

2nd

Silent Sedition ($4.20)

Silent Sedition is stepping up from 1200m when she takes her position in the Queen Of The Turf Stakes field, but her class and proven form suggests that she’ll be right in the finish of the race. Resuming this time for a smart win in the Group 3 Mannerism Stakes (1400m), the War Chant mare ran second in the Group 1 Coolmore Classic (1500m) before breaking through for a maiden win at the highest level in the Group 1 Willliam Reid Stakes (1200m) last time out on March 24th. Craig Williams will take the ride on the mare from the ideal barrier 7.

3rd

Rising Romance ($41)

Rising Romance has returned to racing in competitive form this time and is simply over the Queen Elizabeth Stakes odds at her current quote of $41 to win the race, or $10.30 to finish in the first three. Resuming this time for second in the Group 3 Frances Tressady Stakes (1400m) on March 4th, the Ekraar mare was last seen running on for fourth in the Group 2 Sunline Stakes (1600m) on March 24th. Rising Romance will undoubtedly require luck in running from barrier 16, but will be partnered by in-form hoop Tommy Berry.
